LIFE COACHING
AND
SELF-IMPROVEMENT
I was born and raised in Milan, Italy, where I completed my Bachelor and Master degree in Clinical Psychology with honors. I worked as a researcher in psychotherapy in Germany since 2008 for four years, first at the University of Ulm and then at the TU Dresden.
After several short term internships at the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group (SFPRG) I decided to move to the Bay Area permanently where I now live since 2012. I was granted a fellowship at the SFPRG in 2013 and worked for the clinic throughout this time.
I then decided to start practicing as a life coach providing support and guidance to individuals, couples, parents and families.
My coaching approach is a result of my diverse studies and highly influenced by the Control Mastery Theory, a psychotherapeutic theory by Weiss and Sampson.
I developed many interests working with different groups of clients, but my focus is to work on beliefs that are impeding my clients to access change in order to move to the next level in their Lives.
Having been an Italian teacher as well during these years for both adults and children has also fed my passion to work with parents in building strategies to optimize their relationships with their children.
Being a foreigner who has lived in different countries I have a strong inclination to work with multicultural clients and environments as well as helping people start over in a new place.
